Christmas in July 2011

If you loved our last Christmas in July online event then you are going to love this year’s.  The QFD Creative Team members Amanda, Cheryl, Rachael and Rachel along with our guest designers Janelle Wind, Brenda Ryan, Melissa Grant of One Day in May and Bronwyn Hayes of Red-Brolly have put together some amazing projects for your enjoyment that you will not want to miss.  Along with beautiful projects to create we have wonderful tutorials and ideas to inspire you.  There will be special offers, discounts and prizes.

Can’t wait, sign up now

I’ll be back to show more sneak peeks soon.

If you haven’t ever joined us for one of our online events here are some answers to questions you  may have.

Do I have to be at my computer at certain times or can I just do it at my leisure?

You will be able to see the projects and join in on chatting or any other events at your leisure.  Designer chats may be at specific times, but we will notify you of those in advance.

Is it $45.00 for access to the patterns then any kits are extra?

The price of $45.00 gives you access to the protected website/blog.  This includes a minimum of 10 project/patterns delivered by way of online tutorials/downloadable patterns that you will be able to print, chat, entry to all competitions and other events during Christmas in July 2011.

Kits will be an additional optional cost.  Prices will vary depending on the project.  Projects are designed that you could substitute fabrics, but of course we would love your support in purchasing kits as it helps us subsidise the event.

When do I need to book by?

We recommend you book straight away to make the most of the event.  But should you not have booked by the 25th of July 2011, you are welcome to join at any time up until 24th of August 2011, you will still receive all of the patterns.

Will the patterns be like the tutorials where you can print them out?

The patterns will be available as downloadable PDF’s. So make sure you have ink and paper on hand.

How long will the patterns be available?

The patterns will be available until the 26th of August 2011.  After that date all patterns will be removed from our website.

When will I be able to access the Christmas in July site?

On or after the 20th of July 2011 as long as you have registered and made payment.

What other benefits are their for joining Christmas in July?

You have the chance to win prizes, enjoy discounts and other special offers at Quilt Fabric Delights, make new friends from all over the world and much more.

I do not live in Australia, may I join Christmas in July?

Yes, we would love you to join us.  That is one of the fantastic things about Christmas in July it does not matter where you live, there are no long car rides, expensive plane tickets or train travel, just simply sitting at your computer.

Can I put a button on my blog?

Yes, in fact I’d love you to.  The more who come along the more fun we will have.

I am a beginner will I be able to keep up?

We have projects designed for all levels of experience from the beginner up.  You are not required to complete the project during the month, but at your leisure.  You will also find that along with the Creative Team and guest designers there is a wealth of knowledge and experience within participants of Christmas in July who generously share their experience and expertise.

Can I see all the projects before I sign up?

We like to keep these as a surprise.  I am sure that those who joined us for Christmas in July last year will testify that  the anticipation of the what the wonderful project for the next day is part of the fun.

If you have any other questions, please just ask.
