Please congratulate them, they have made amazing projects and put together fantastic tutorials to share with you.
Originally we planned on having four members of the Creative Team, but as you can see the quality of the applications was overwhelming, so we decided to increase the team to six, and even that was difficult, but I know that you have all been waiting for this so here are the winning projects.
For the competition the girls all had the exactly the same fabrics to work with and have come up with a wonderful array of different projects. For some I really challenged them with my fabric choice and moved them out of their comfort zone fabric wise. Definitely worth it for the results. Future QFD Creative Team projects will feature different fabrics, but this exercise certainly shows the versatility of both the fabric and the designers.
You know what it is like when you move house, the couch isn't quite right where you thought it would be and the saucepans, well they would really be better in the other cupboard. You know the sort of thing. Well I have a little bit more of that to do, but look out for the first tutorial to be posted tomorrow, or maybe earlier if the moving of the furniture goes smoothly.
