Here are some photos of WIP on Hooties bag to add to the gallery for me. This has been a challenge for me in getting materials to use. Whilst in Australia everything we buy seems to be “Made in China”. Here in China there seems to be none of it for sale. Well there is lots for sale just not what I needed.

So the bag is made from a brand new tablecloth which cost about AU$10, a white table napkin (20c), some scraps I had brought from home and a very thin doona or maybe it is an underblanket (couldn’t read the chinese label). Hootie has buttons for eyes which came from one of those travel sewing kits. I can’t find a button for the bag closure anywhere so that will have to wait until I go home. The pink and green plaid and the floral are from the tablecloth and I still have heaps to spare so everthing else I make will match .I also didn’t have any vlisofix so Hootie is needleturned.
